How to Make Money on the Internet Without Selling Products or Services

My first question is this...What is more important to you, developing a website with quality content or developing a website to sell products. It is my belief that unless you develop a site that is based on quality content you will struggle in making money.

Now i know this sounds very cliche but it is the truth.

Now the question is this...what is quality content and how do we develop it?
